Before launching Raja Arts in 1978, Harish Chander spent two years experimenting with what he had learnt at ITI — a period of rigorous refinement across multiple special arts. Driven by a burning desire to do something truly unique, he sought out the contemporary veterans and stalwarts who had already devoted their lives to promoting the many facets of art.

These masters were deeply impressed by his rare combination of keen desire, relentless curiosity, and extraordinary work ethic. The experience gained through those formative encounters has since enabled Harish to stand on the same pedestal as the most eminent art masters of his generation.
